Law of Returns
Sometimes called the Law of Retribution or the Law of Sowing and Reaping, the Law of Returns is that which ultimately causes a
return to the ONE, from the MANY. It acts as a force of selection at various levels of Being,
accelerating that which is fit and destroying that which is unfit -
resulting in the evolution of all Being toward the ONE.
The Law of Returns is one of the highest laws or principles within the Godhead.
Reminiscent of friction between two objects that results in static electricity as well as attractive or repulsive forces, any action such as thought, emotion, word, or deed by one fragment of Being on another fragment, generates a potential between the two entities. The potential may be discharged in many ways, such as through another action (the return) applied on the entities, and which has a compensating effect. The entities may automatically draw to themselves such actions from their environment (
the latter being a form of Being). They may also initiate compensatory actions to discharge the potential. Like a conservative energy field, the potential remains non-zero until the overall
work done is compensated and nullified to zero. Interestingly, the term used for 'work' in some of the eastern languages is '
karma'.
When applied to multiple entities, the potentials and interchanges between them become arbitrarily complex. Like the N-body problem, much of the interaction is well beyond easy analysis, yet quite a lot may be understood through observation and empirical methods.
The Law of Returns is not about reward and punishment, rather it is the only way ALL fragments of Being may
autonomously evolve and return to the ONE. For this reason, it acts from the very lowest to the very highest levels of manifestations of Being.
